How to Ensure Proper Alignment of the Muffler When Assembling the Exhaust System on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

In connecting the exhaust system, clamp up not until all the parts are fitted. Install the muffler assembly/I-Pipe, make sure all pieces are aligned and band clamp is tightened to 55 Nm. Do not over tighten to avoid damage of clamps. Install the ground strap and replace the clamp (where needed) and inspect the leaks and clearance.
