How to Service an Oil Cooler on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

In order to service the engine oil cooler, drain the cooling system and raise the vehicle. Unscrew the coolant hoses, dislocate the oil filter (part 3), and the oil cooler connector bolt (part 2). Lastly, clean away the oil cooler (part 1), and it cannot be cleaned, it has to be replaced in the event of rebuilding the engine.
