How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose for a Gas Engine for Supply Hose on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

The first step to servicing the power steering line on a gas engine is to siphon most of the fluid out of the power steering reservoir. Once you have the tools, first remove the clamp holding the supply hose to the pump's supply fitting, then pull the hose away from the pump's fitting. Once the screw is loose, take away the hose clamp, free the supply hose from the reservoir and take it out of the car.
