2009 Chrysler 300 Tail Light Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove the Tail Light from a Sedan or Wagon on 2009 Chrysler 300?
A: First, you should isolate and remove the battery's negative cable before taking out the tail lamp from a sedan. On the trunk side, pull back the trim panel and then remove the electrical connector. Pull the three plastic wing nuts free, then remove the tail lamp unit by taking it out from the rear of the quarter trim panel. When working on a wagon, start by taking out the battery negative cable and then remove the rapidly detachable fasteners by the liftgate. Use a trim stick or its equivalent from the cargo area to take off the access panel fixed to the quarter panel's backside. Lift the one plastic wing nut and carefully pull the rear section to release both mounting tabs of the tail lamp unit. Loop the electrical connector out of the tail lamp unit, then turn it counterclockwise to remove the Stop, Turn Signal or back up lamps.
