Are You Installing the Steering Wheel Correctly on 2009 Chrysler Aspen?

It's important to use a fresh new steering wheel bolt since you should never reuse the previous one. Put the end of the spline on the steering wheel hub into the column shaft, then secure the steering wheel (1) with the column (4). Ensuring the bolt holding the steering wheel is torqued to the correct specifications ensures the Clock Spring works correctly. Put in the steering wheel bolt (2) and tighten it to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). Afterward, place the air bag from the driver's side into the steering wheel (1).
