How to Remove and Replace an Engine Oil Filter Using a High-Quality Full-Flow, Disposable Type on 2009 Dodge Dakota?

In order to change engine oil filter, apply Mopar(R) or similar filter. Place a drain pan below the filter, and use an oil filter wrench to loosen and then rotate it anti-clockwise to remove. Tilt the gasket end to the maximum in order to spill as little as possible, take the filter out, and wipe down the gasket sealing surface.
