In order to change the serpentine accessory drive belt of an engine with a 5.7L, you must remove the air intake tube first. Then rotate the tensioner clockwise with a square drive ratchet and release the belt tension. Take off the belt of the pulleys and release the tensioner by softly easing it afterwards.
