How to Remove the Drive Shaft on 2009 Dodge Viper?

Before you remove the propeller shaft, see that the vehicle is in neutral and raised on a hoist. After that, take out the exhaust heat shield bolts and then the two belly pan bolts, plus the pan. Put a line across the pinion yoke and propeller shaft indicating the installation reference point. Following this, disconnect all of the universal joint bolts and straps from the pinion yoke. In the end, slide the yoke on your propeller shaft out of the transmission.
