2009 Jeep Compass Clutch Slave Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Clutch Slave Cylinder on 2009 Jeep Compass?
A: Make sure the brake master cylinder fluid is full and close the reservoir cap tightly to stop the clutch master cylinder fluids from leaking out during removal. Start by taking out the transaxle from the vehicle. You will then separate the clutch hydraulic line (6) from the bleeder assembly (2) and then pull out and take off the bleeder assembly (2) from the clutch master cylinder (3). After that, take out the slave cylinder-to-clutch bellhousing bolts and remove the slave cylinder from the transaxle.
