How to Install a Dimmer Switch for Multifunctional Use on 2009 Jeep Compass?

In order to install the left multifunction switch, one has to disable the SRS by disconnecting the battery negative cable. Install the switch closer to the mounting bracket, align it and fix it with a screw. Before reconnecting the battery cable reconnect the instrument panel wire harness and re-install the shrouds.
