How to remove the intermediate shaft on 2010 Chrysler Town & Country?

To remove the intermediate shaft, re-position the floor carpeting to get at the steering column coupling. Lock the steering wheel in the straight position then remove the coupling bolt and separate the intermediate shaft. Remove the shaft seal and cover, raise the vehicle and slide the intermediate shaft extensionoff the steering gear shaft.
