How to Service and Repair a Vapor Canister on 2010 Dodge Avenger?

To service the Evaporative Emission Control Canister, disconnect the negative battery cable and raise the vehicle. Disconnect electrical connector 1 and hoses from the EVAP canister 2, remove the filter hose, and take off the mounting fasteners from the bracket of the EVAP canister 1. Finally, remove the canister assembly.
