How to Service a Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet on 2010 Dodge Challenger?

In order to repair the auxiliary cigarette lighter, unscrew the battery negative cable. Take off the element and the lighter knob, and take off snap ring pliers that the retaining bosses are engaged into the receptacle base. Pry up the base and remove the harness of wire, and then completely strip out the component.
