2010 Jeep Wrangler Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Output Speed Sensor in a Transmission for Output on 2010 Jeep Wrangler?
A: The first part of installing the output speed sensor is to place it into the transmission case (2). Before fixing the speed sensor with the bolt, cover the bolt sealing patch with Mopar(R) Lock AND Seal Adhesive. After that, tighten the bolt to secure the output speed sensor with a torque of 9 Nm (80 in.lbs.). Connect the wiring connector to the output speed sensor and make sure the transmission fluid level is OK, then add fluid as needed before putting your car on the ground.
