First, lift the hood and get rid of the front hood seal when servicing and fixing the radiator support. Following that, remove both of the center brace mounting nuts and the hood latch. Afterwards, get rid of the crossmember mounting bolts and remove the crossmember.

Start by lining up the upper crossmember and putting it in its location to install it. Next, use the outer mounting bolts and tighten them after installing them. Place the nuts that attach the latch to the radiator crossmember support, then tighten them to a torque of 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.). Check the hood's fit after that and make the required improvements. The hood seal needs to be installed last.
