How to remove the rear Bumper Cover (fascia) on Chrysler Pacifica?

To remove the rear bumper cover or fascia, first open the liftgate and remove two push pin fasteners per side at the liftgate tower area. Hoist and support the vehicle with safety stands as necessary. Disconnect the park assist wire connector and the push pin fasteners attaching the wire harness under the vehicle. Next, remove the four push pin fasteners attaching the rear fascia to the reinforcement bumper, followed by two screws from each side that attach the fascia to the rear fascia bracket in the wheelhouse. Remove the tail lamps and the screw on each side attaching the upper fascia in the tail lamp bucket area. Lift the sides of the rear fascia up and outboard to release it from the rear fascia brackets, then place the fascia on a clean surface. If necessary, remove the park assist sensors. Use a trim stick to release the locking tabs and separate the upper and lower fascia. Finally, remove the bright chrome molding from the upper fascia by using a trim stick to release the locking tabs, gripping the molding, and pulling outward while releasing the tabs.

To install rear bumper cover, position rear fascia bracket onto the aperture panel one the left side or right side and start screws with four screws per side. Hold the bracket up; the stand-off ribs contact the aperture panel and reach at the top. Subsequently, the aperture bracket screws must be tightened in sequence to a torque of 3 Nm (23 in. lbs.). Consequently, install new push pins to attach the splash shield to the aperture bracket discarding the old push pins. Affix the rear fascia last.
