Begin by rearranging any removed components in the upper intake manifold, ensuring that the allocated screws for the composite parts are weighted and not removed hastily so that the material does not melt or the screws strip; for damaged threads, a larger screw is available. Secure the
MAP Sensor to 1.7 Nm (15 in. lbs.). Lift off the fabric that covers the lower intake manifold and wipe down its surfaces, then examine whether the manifold gaskets are still good. If they're intact, place a new gasket in the channel, making sure it's pushed back lightly, repeating for every gasket. Place the upper manifold onto the lower manifold, add some Mopar(R) Lock & Seal Adhesive (Medium Strength Threadlocker) to each bolt, install them and tighten with 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) of torque. Connect the computer attachment for the MAP sensor, connect the brake boost hose to the intake manifold and attach the
EGR Tube, making sure to hand-install the special screws very carefully to avoid ruining the thread. Attach the ETC connector to the
Throttle Body, attach the EVAP hose to the throttle body, install the air cleaner and air inlet hose assembly, plugin the inlet air temperature (IAT) sensor connector through its opening and then attach the battery negative cable.
