Lift up the oil cooler end and generously oil its seal, then place the oil pan side of the cooler on the notch on the oil pan, so that the other end is parallel to the oil pan rail. After that, screw in the oil cooler attaching fastener and tighten it up to 54 Nm or 40 ft. lbs. Following that, attach the oil filter, then connect the inlet coolant hose and outlet coolant hose to the oil cooler. You should fill the cooling system before you seal everything.
