How to Service and Repair a Sway Bar Bushing on Chrysler Voyager?

Raise the vehicle, then remove the two bolts connecting the emission leak detection pump to the cradle crossmember reinforcement. After moving the leak detection pump to one side, undo the bolts and nuts attached to the sway bar cushion retainers and remove the retainers. Simply pull each cushion covering off the bar by opening the small slits on the cushions. For installing cushions, place each new one in the slit and push it onto the sway bar with its square corner down toward the vehicle's front. Drop the sway bar into place so the cushions are correctly arranged, clip a retainer onto the cradle crossmember, slide a bolt from the back of the crossmember through the retainer into its hole and tighten the two nuts to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.) torque. After that, put the emission leak detection pump back on the cradle crossmember reinforcement with the two mounting bolts and lower the vehicle.
