- Q: How to Maintain and Fix the Front Door Window Glass Weather Strip on Chrysler Voyager?A:To service or repair the front door window glass weather strip, first take off the closeout moldings from the door frame. Pull the weather strip from the bottom and work your way up the run channel at the rear of the door frame to release the clip holding it to the frame. After that, you'll want to take the weather strip off the top edge of the door frame, remove the door trim panel and remove the door speaker if you find one. As needed, detach the watershed to access the screw connecting the front lower glass weather strip to the inner door panel and remove both said screw and weather strip. Pull the weather strip out of the runner along the front window and take out the glass run weather strip from the car. Put the glass run weather strip on your vehicle, insert the A-pillar portion into the door through the belt line and move it down to the bottom, making certain you don't damage the metal bracket. Match the bottom edge of the B-pillar glass at the roll frame's top with the header, then slowly move it up until it can't go any further. Attach the B-pillar-to-front glass run onto the roll frame, then move forward to mount the first 8 to 12 inches of header run in the same way, not moving the header or its molded corner. Slip the molded A-pillar into its corner in the roll frame, then climb the glass with it until the rubber edging directly meets the roll frame.
