How to install the Center Console Base on Dodge Caliber?

Before installing the center console, first place the parking brake in the upright position. After that, place the center console on top of the parking brake and connect its wire connector to the back of the instrument panel connector. Hook the front of the center console into the front floor bracket until the retainers get full engagement. In the end, screw two rear screws into the rear floor bracket using the new screws.

How to Remove the Center Console Base on Dodge Caliber?

Open the console door and loosen and remove the two screws holding the console to the bracket under the rear floorboard. Work your way up gradually so that the retainers come loose from the center console to the front floor bracket. Cut the wire from the center console to the instrument panel and take out the console from your vehicle. Then, remove the center console and take the shifter bezel off it. Working with trim stick C-4755 or a similar device, loosen the clips and take out the accessory switch bank. Cross the electric connectors and undo the rear screws to disconnect the console and shift housing from the front panel.
