To detach the rear bumper cover or fascia, you have to open the liftgate. After that, you can remove the attaching screw from the upper fascia to the liftgate tower, right and left. Next, lift the vehicle and place safety stands underneath it. If the vehicle has it, then disconnect rear park assist wire connector. Next, use a 7-mm socket to take out the three screws securing the rear fascia to its side brackets. After this, remove the four plastic push pins that hold the bottom of the rear fascia to the fascia support. Lastly, (27 words) lift the rear fascia sides upward and outboard to release it from the rear fascia brackets; if needed, remove the park assist sensor.
