    To install the door lock cylinder, slide the small clip of the cylinder into the hole on the Door Handle's front side. Put the link arm toward the back of the vehicle and press the lock cylinder all the way into the handle until it makes a snap noise. After that, join the lock linkage to the door latch and click on the clip to secure them together. After that, slide the latch linkage into the door latch and snap it in place with the clip. When you have the push-in fasteners, use them to connect the VTSS switch harness to the inner door reinforcement bar and attach the VTSS switch connector to the door harness. When the door latch is checked and the fitting is right, insert the watershield and install the door panel on top.

    First, move the roller up and pull down the front door watershield to access outside the Door Handle before servicing the lock cylinder. Remove the VTSS switch from its connector at the door harness and then pull out the push-in fasteners fixing the harness to the inner door reinforcement bar, if accessible. After that, get rid of the clip that secures the linkage for the door and then remove the door latch linkage before turning to the door lock linkage clip and removing the lock linkage after detaching the connection. Release the nuts holding the outside door handle and take off the door handle. Take the lock cylinder out of the door handle by pushing the clip that holds it to the outside handle and pulling it out. To install, insert the clip into the handle on the outside of the door, while pushing the lock cylinder into the inside handle with the link arm in front of the cylinder until it snaps into place.
