How to Install the Hood Cable for Latch Release on Dodge Caravan?

First, lay the hood cable under the instrument panel to install it. Set the latch end of the cable on the mechanic's wire from the dash panel, then push the cable toward the latch along the engine compartment, using the mechanical wire. After disconnecting the mechanic's wire at the cable, slot the rubber grommet cable insulator into the dash panel's opening. Set the hood release handle into the instrument panel and organize the cable so its arm rests on the latch. Push the cable case sideways into the hood latch keyhole and secure it with the cable cover into the hood latch lock. Afterward, connect the hood latch and attach the attaching clips on the cable case into the original holes in the strut tower, fender, headlamp area and radiator closure panel crossmember.
