Begin by inserting the door wire harness connector 3 into the door latch 1 and then hook door wire harness connector 4 onto the door latch. Put the latch against the inside face of the front door shell, then secure it with the three fasteners, making sure each is tightened to 12 Nm. For the driver side front door, place your hand in the door shell from the backside. Use the link to connect and then secure it by snapping the clip over the link at the front of the door. After that, connect the exterior door handle latch release link to the latch lever and clip it in place using the plastic clip. Also, attach the end of the interior door handle latch release link 5 to the latch lever and secure them both. Insert the interior door latch lock link and knob assembly through the front door and hold it engaged on the latch lever, then fasten it with a plastic clip. Place the watershield, speaker and trim panel into the boat. Move the front door access slot wrench, inserted on the outer side of the latch face, to adjust the hex socket latch release screw. Then, move the door outside latch handle handle back and forth twice or three times before securing the adjusting screw again.
