How to Remove Car Speakers from Various Locations on Dodge Durango?

To replace front door speaker first disconnect and isolate negative battery cable, then remove front door trim panel, next removal of mounting fasteners, and lastly the speaker and separation of the electrical harness connector. On the instrument panel speaker, disconnect the negative battery cable and isolate it, remove the instrument panel defroster grille, remove the mounting fasteners then pull the speaker off and disconnect the electrical harness connector. In order to replace the rear door speaker, the battery negative cable should be disconnected and isolated, the rear door trim panel, the speaker mounting fasteners removed and the speaker case removed disconnecting the electrical harness connector. The tweeter on the rear door is removed by disconnecting and isolating the negative cable on the battery, removing the rear door panel (trim package) and disconnecting the electrical harness connector (1) and removing the tweeter (2). To install the subwoofer, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable, take out the trim on the quarter panel, take out the mounting bolts, and then take out the speaker disengaging the electrical harness connectors.

How to Install Car Speakers on Dodge Durango?

Hook the electrical harness connector to the door then locate and firmly install the front door speaker. After that, place the door trim panel back, connect the battery negative cable and finish installing the door. After joining the speaker's electrical harness, fit it at the required position, fasten it in place and connect its brackets to the instrument panel cover once finished. To set up the rear door speaker, join the harness connector to the power harness, settle the speaker into place, secure it with fasteners, reattach the door trim panel and attach the negative cable to the battery. For the tweeter in the rear door, link up the harness connector, put the speaker into the panel on the door, fit and secure the fasteners, return the panel to the door and connect the battery negative cable. First, attach the subwoofer's electrical harness, then position it and attach the mounting screws, put on the quarter panel trim and hook up the battery cable.
