You need to remove and isolate the air bag system by cutting the negative cable from the battery, wait two minutes before proceeding and then take out the glove compartment. Take out both the cluster bezel and lower bezel from the center of the car's dashboard. Remove the two screws from the inboard and outboard sides of the glove box module, then the passenger side end cap as your next step. Unscrew the four screws towards the bottom of the module, open the glove box, take out the upper reinforcement's latch striker and then unscrew the two screws at the top of the module. Should you have a glove box lamp, pull the module aside to unplug the wire harness connector. Take out the glove box module from the section under your instrument panel. Starting to disassemble, take the glove box door off, remove the nine screws holding the flanges around the glove box bin and then take out the glove box bin. Unscrew the two fixing screws on the glove box, then remove the latch and handle. Latch and handle should be placed within the glove box door, fixed with two screws, the bin should go in and be held in place with nine screws and the door can be replaced. When installing, place the glove box module onto the instrument panel, reattach the wire harness if one exists, use two outboard screws to secure the module's top, install the latch striker, lower and latch the glove box and use another four screws to fasten the module to the bottom of the panel. Mount the screw at the other end of the module, attach the pure passenger side end cap and install the screw for the module's inboard side. After that, install the lower bezel and cluster bezel and link up the negative cable from the battery.
