How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on Dodge Neon?

Service the headlamp bulb by opening the hood first by releasing its latch. Take off the screws connecting the headlamp module to the upper crossmember and remove the module from the car. Loop over the wire and disconnect it from the back of the headlamp bulb. Then, turn the retaining ring counterclockwise just one quarter turn and pull it out of the module. Ease the bulb from the headlamp module by hand. Before installing, wash your hands to protect the bulb life from oil. Attach the bulb into the headlamp module and resume using the headlamp by tightening the ring clockwise one quarter turn. Join the wire connector to the headlamp bulb, slot the headlamp module back into the car and hold it tight by securing the screws to the crossmember above your head.
