    To take off the engine hood, unm Angle the collar nuts on the hinge while helping the hood, then unscrew the hood support and lift off the engine hood. After you put the hood on the hinges (5), bolt the collar nuts (6) temporarily, insert the hood support, move the hood into place and grease the hinges (5). Release the hood support (2) and the spring (4) from the guide on the engine hood (1) by first removing the retainer (3), then support the hood (1) carefully to make sure it does not fall off and note where you found the spring was installed (4). Then, take out the collar nuts from the hinge and lift off the engine hood. Set the engine hood (1) onto the hinges (5), leave the collar nuts (6) unattached for now, fit the spring (4) over the hinge pin (6), insert the hood support (2) into the guide and then put a new retainer (3) in place. Furthermore, put the engine hood back in place and lubricate the hinges (5).
