First, remove and isolate the negative cable from the battery before working on the back up lamp. Remove the trim from the left or right rear corner pillar, if you can. Apply pressure with your hands on the latch tabs inside, then pull the panel off the sockets, sliding it straight back away from the inner rear pillar. Draw the socket plate from the rear pillar so that the back up lamp bulb is easy to remove from the tail lamp. The next step is to insert the back up lamp bulb into the tail lamp socket plate, put the socket plate on the internal rear pillar mounting hole and use only your hand to gently press it until the two locking tabs are drawn in and clicked. If this is possible, apply the trim to the inside edge of the right or left rear corner pillar and secure the battery negative cable.
