How to Service and Repair a Dimmer Switch on Dodge Stratus?

Before servicing or repairing the combination switch, cut all power to the negative remote cable. After that, remove the upper shroud on the steering column. With the multi-function switch mounting screws removed, disconnect the wires and lift out the switch straight up. Put the switch on the steering column, then fix it with the retaining screws which must be tightened to only 2.3 Nm (20 in lbs). After putting back the steering shrouds and screws, make sure the steering column cover screws are tightened to 2 Nm (17 in lbs). Reconnect the other end of the black battery cable next.
