Begin by holding the accelerator up inside the cab, remove the plastic cable attachment from the upper end of the accelerator arm and then remove the rest of the cable core wire near the lower end of the arm. After that, pinch the wings on the cable housing at the dash panel and carefully pull the housing toward the engine. Take the cable out from the guide on the cylinder head cover, then push the throttle cable ball end socket in the
Throttle Body to the back of the vehicle. Pull the release on each side to detach the throttle cable from both sides and remove it from the car. Insert the throttle cable's wire through the bracket hole until the retainer catches on and then attach the cable's ball end to the throttle body linkage ball. Link the cable to the cable guide found on the cylinder head cover and then push the free side of the cable through the cutout in the dash panel so its "teeth" lock. After that, from the driver's position, direct the throttle cable core wire into the opening at the top of the accelerator pedal. Push the cable retainer into that opening until it clicks into position. After putting on the key, push the accelerator pedal to check for any binding.
