How to Attach and Replace the Front Door Opening Weather Strip on the A-Pillar on Jeep Cherokee?

The secondary weather strip for the front door opening is joined to the A-pillar by adhesive tape. Heat the weather strip directly with a heat gun and as it softens, take it off the A-pillar. To install, wipe the contact area on the A-pillar, remove the carrier backing and stick the weather strip on, pushing it down as you go.

After that, pull up on the weather strip at the back corner to unfasten it from the door. Place the weather strip around the door and push it down until it sits in place.
