What Precautions Should Be Taken When Installing Car Speakers on Jeep Wrangler?

Vehicles with air bags require special care to prevent accidental air bag deployment. This should always be done before attempting any service. Before connecting the battery negative cable, start with electrical connector, place the tweeter, secure it in place and then install the tweeter. First install the speaker in the driver instrument panel cluster. Fasten it with the given fasteners, then connect the electrical cable, install the instrument panel mounting fasteners, attach the amplifier, close the steering column opening with its cover, install the instrument panel end cap and link the negative cable to the battery. For the speaker in the passenger instrument panel, add the speaker, secure it using the fasteners, link up the electrical cables, put in place the glove box, install the instrument panel end cap and connect the negative cable from the battery. To set up the sound bar, connect the end of the electrical cable, secure the speaker in place, make sure its fasteners are firm and attach the battery negative lead. Set the subwoofer into its place, install the electrical connector, amp the subwoofer down with mounting fasteners and attach the battery cable to its negative post.

How to Remove Car Speakers on Jeep Wrangler?

First, you need to turn off the air bag system before taking out the speakers. To do this on vehicles with air bags, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and then wait for two minutes while the air bag system capacitor drains. Take the battery negative cable off, remove the mounting fastener, extract the tweeter (1) and separate the electrical cord from the tweeter. For the driver instrument panel speaker, unhook the battery negative cable, take out the end cap for the instrument panel, remove the cover on the steering column and take out the amplifier. To take out the speaker, disconnect the connector, unscrew the fasteners on the panel's left side, free the fasteners holding the speaker and pull the panel away from the rest. First, disconnect your vehicle's negative battery cable, take out the glove box, remove the instrument panel cap, unplug the electrical wires, remove the speaker fasteners and then take out the speaker. For the sound bar, pull out the battery negative wire, loosen the brackets that hold it in place, pull the speaker cover grille off, take the speaker and unplug the electrical wires. To deal with the subwoofer, release the negative battery cable, remove all the bolts holding it to the vehicle, remove the grille, pull out the speaker and unplug the connector cord from it.

Q: What Precautions Should Be Taken When Installing Car Speakers on Jeep Wrangler?

Vehicles with air bags require special care to prevent accidental air bag deployment. This should always be done before attempting any service. Before connecting the battery negative cable, start with electrical connector, place the tweeter, secure it in place and then install the tweeter. First install the speaker in the driver instrument panel cluster. Fasten it with the given fasteners, then connect the electrical cable, install the instrument panel mounting fasteners, attach the amplifier, close the steering column opening with its cover, install the instrument panel end cap and link the negative cable to the battery. For the speaker in the passenger instrument panel, add the speaker, secure it using the fasteners, link up the electrical cables, put in place the glove box, install the instrument panel end cap and connect the negative cable from the battery. To set up the sound bar, connect the end of the electrical cable, secure the speaker in place, make sure its fasteners are firm and attach the battery negative lead. Set the subwoofer into its place, install the electrical connector, amp the subwoofer down with mounting fasteners and attach the battery cable to its negative post.

First, you need to turn off the air bag system before taking out the speakers. To do this on vehicles with air bags, disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and then wait for two minutes while the air bag system capacitor drains. Take the battery negative cable off, remove the mounting fastener, extract the tweeter (1) and separate the electrical cord from the tweeter. For the driver instrument panel speaker, unhook the battery negative cable, take out the end cap for the instrument panel, remove the cover on the steering column and take out the amplifier. To take out the speaker, disconnect the connector, unscrew the fasteners on the panel's left side, free the fasteners holding the speaker and pull the panel away from the rest. First, disconnect your vehicle's negative battery cable, take out the glove box, remove the instrument panel cap, unplug the electrical wires, remove the speaker fasteners and then take out the speaker. For the sound bar, pull out the battery negative wire, loosen the brackets that hold it in place, pull the speaker cover grille off, take the speaker and unplug the electrical wires. To deal with the subwoofer, release the negative battery cable, remove all the bolts holding it to the vehicle, remove the grille, pull out the speaker and unplug the connector cord from it.
