Assemble the tire and wheel on the vehicle, lower the car and drive continuously above 15 mph (24 km/h) for about 10 minutes if the vehicle stays in a stationary place for more than 20 minutes. If using a sensor is not possible, the appropriate diagnostics should be looked at. If a vehicle is equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, a new spare tire and wheel assembly are installed and the spare tire sensor is replaced, the new sensor ID must be programmed into the Wireless Control Module using a diagnostic scan tool. Take down the ID number of your new pressure sensor before putting it in, then press Learn Spare Tire Sensor ID from the Wireless Control Module menu. If you have a special TPM-RKE Analyzer, place the new spare tire pressure sensor in "Park" mode; if you do not, turn the spare tire along with one road tire.
