The Ram Knock Sensor is a device that is bolted on the block and senses ping vibrations to enable the computer to increase the rate of spark advance to avoid damaging the piston. Current Ram trucks are applied as both a tow, hauling massive trailers and at the same time providing passengers with a spacious, comfortable interior with large touch screens that can call up maps and dials at a tap of a button. All Rams come with the eTorque mild hybrid that provides the Ram with instant low-speed thrust and conserves fuel when traffic is at a crawl. The air suspension is optional and rises up to avoid drops or rocks so that one can cruise the highways even when carrying heavy loads; the suspension automatically levels the heavy loads so that it can maintain a steady ride. The easy-to-use RamBox signature has lockable bedside compartments that keep gear dry and secure. Strength is kept in the middle, and high tensile frames and intelligent weight balance provide stable handling even in case of a packed bed. Ram maintains low wind noise indoors, causing conversation never to be in conflict with the road. The second Knock Sensor is applied together with the first to control each bank separately and squeeze more power out of regular fuel without the danger of knock. The Knock Sensor is easily replaced. Unplug the battery, lift the front of the Ram sufficiently, find the sensor on the block beneath the intake, unclip the harness, and spin the old one out with a deep socket. Clean the seat, insert the new Knock Sensor with your hands, screw it to fit, clip the connector, drop the truck, and reconnect the battery to make sure there is no check engine light.
