The Ram Seat Motor also enables the driver to move the seat forward, backward, uphill or downhill with the press of a button providing easy comfort without the manual effort. To fit a new Seat Motor the first step is to disconnect the battery and then slide the seat back exposing bolts where the seat is removed and the harness unplugged. Then take away trim panels, unbolt the old unit, move any brackets, position the replacement on the track and tighten all the fasteners. Reconnect the wiring, re-attach the trim and the seat, attach the battery and perform a brief calibration to ensure that the Seat Motor moves through its full travel with no noise or binding.
