    Position the positive cable in the vehicle, install the nut securing the cable to the alternator, secure the terminal cap to the alternator stud, and install the cable pushpin into the bracket next to the alternator. Raise the vehicle on a hoist, install the nut securing the cable to the starter solenoid, connect the battery cable retaining pushpins to the left frame rail, lower the vehicle, and install the battery cable retaining pushpin to the battery tray. Install the wire harness connector pushpin into the Totally Integrated Power Module housing, connect the wire harness connector at the TIPM, install the nut securing the cable to the TIPM, and connect both the battery positive and negative cable terminal clamps before checking the vehicle for normal operation.
