    First, take off the 4WD gear shift boot if equipped. Then, remove the transmission gear shift lever extension if a manual transmission is present. Next, take out the console inserts if applicable, and remove the two bolts securing the rear console to the floor panel. Lift the rear of the floor console to clear the gear shift lever, then remove the two bolts and separate the front console from the floor. Finally, separate the front clips and remove the mini console.

    Position the center seat console onto the front seat assembly and roll it back into the vehicle. Install new nuts attaching the center console to the driver and passenger seats, connect the electrical connector if equipped, and tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs.). Install new nuts attaching the center console to the driver and passenger seats and tighten them to 25 N.m (18 ft.lbs.). Connect the electrical connectors if equipped, roll the seat assembly forward, and install new rear bolts, tightening them to 40 N.m (30 ft.lbs.). Fold the seat backs up, slide the seats to the rear, and install new front bolts, tightening them to 28 N.m (21 ft.lbs.).
