To replace the compressor clutch, disconnect the negative battery cable and throw off the accessory drive belt. Disconnect the engine wire harness, remove the A/C compressor bolts, and remove the clutch connector. Remove the compressor shaft bolt after which remove the clutch plate and shim(s). Finally, snap rings that hold the pulley and field coil in place.
