    A: In order to fix the alternator, unplug the negative battery cable, unscrew the mounting bolts and take out the drive belt and generator. Remove the field circuit plug and B+ terminal. To install, reconnect B+ wire, install the generator and tighten all bolts then reconnect battery cable.
