How to Effectively Service and Repair an EGR Valve on 2000 Chrysler 300M?

When fixing the EGR valve, one should disconnect the negative battery cable, take out the air inlet tube, and take out the electrical connector. Take off the EGR valve and de-grease the surfaces. Install a new gasket, screws to required torque, connect the connector back, and reconnect the battery cable.
