How to Maintain a Speed Sensor on 2000 Chrysler 300M?

The first step in servicing the output speed sensor is to remove the sensor's connector, making certain the weather seal isn't left behind in the old sensor. An output speed sensor cannot be used in place of an input speed sensor. Then, undo and pull out the output speed sensor and carefully check the speed sensor O-ring. If it's damaged, change it. Be certain that the O-ring is installed correctly prior to tightening the output speed sensor using 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). After that, plug the speed sensor back into the harness and attach the negative battery cable.
