How to Replace the A/C Hose Connecting the Expansion Valve and Condenser on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus?

Before changing the A/C liquid hose/line to the expansion valve, you must first recover all refrigerant from the A/C system. Then, open the A/C quick connect clip at the expansion valve and disconnect the special quick connector on it with Special Tool 7240. The liquid line should be removed from the expansion valve using the included Special Tool kit 7193. Shut off all pipes not being replaced and cover the fittings on the expansion valve tubes. After that, separate the liquid line from the receiver/drier and take out the liquid line from the vehicle. For removal, simply do the steps in this guide but in reverse. Removing refrigerant from the A/C system is the first step for replacing the liquid line to the condenser. Take out the A/C quick connect clip at the condenser and separate the quick connector on the same side using Special Tool 7240. Opening using to special tool 7193, remove the liquid line from the condenser and make sure all the lines you leave intact are capped like the condenser inlet. Unhook the liquid line from the receiver/drier and pull it out from your vehicle. Installation should be done by reversing the steps you used for removal.
