How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus?

The brake light switch is fixed by removing it by holding the brake pedal and turning the switch counter-clockwise. Disconnect the wiring harness, and then replace the switch with a new one with plunger all the way open. Check the brake lamps are operating, align and screw it in place.
