How to Replace Car Speakers in the Instrument Panel on 2000 Chrysler Cirrus?

The first step in replacing the instrument panel speaker is to break the remote connection from the battery negative cable. Gently use a trim tool or a suitable object to get underneath and lift both left and right A-pillar trim moldings. After that, take out the screw on the right side, lift each side edge of the top cover to unlock it from the clips, use a trim stick to lift the back and gently pull it to the rear so the front clips clear. To replace the speaker, remove the two screws holding it, raise the speaker from the case and take the wire connector apart. Reverse the instructions to remove when installing.
