2000 Chrysler Concorde Speed Sensor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Speed Sensor in Your Transmission on 2000 Chrysler Concorde?
A: Before working on the Transmission Speed Sensor, detach the input speed sensor connector with care, so that the weather seal does not get lost in the old sensor and the input speed sensor is not used as an output speed sensor. Unscrew the input speed sensor next, take it out and check the O-ring on the speed sensor. If it is worn out, change the O-ring. Make sure the O-ring is properly in place before fastening the input speed sensor to a torque of 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.). After that, install the speed sensor connector and battery negative cable again.
