2000 Chrysler Sebring Exhaust Manifold Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair an Exhaust Manifold on 2000 Chrysler Sebring?
A: First, to service or repair the exhaust manifold, take out the heated oxygen sensor and clean the manifold threads using an 18 mm (0.7 inches) x 1.5 + 6E tap. If you are using the old sensor, apply Loctite 771-64 or its substitute to the sensor threads. New sensors are already pre-coated, so you do not need to put on an antiseize compound. Also, check the exhaust manifold for cracks or any kind of damage.
