How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable on 2000 Dodge Avenger?

In order to service the parking brake cable, take out the rear brake assembly and fix it. Assemble the shoe components until the hold-down cup is removed. To fit, have the adjuster placed in position, the left shoe-bolt in front and the right in the rear, taking care as to the unequal load on the shoes-to-anchor springs.
