How to Replace an Alternator on 2000 Dodge Ram 2500?

To access the alternator, remove the negative battery cable(s), drive belt and unfastening bolts to mount the generator. Disconnect the B+ terminal and field wire then remove the generator. For installation, reconnect wires, tighten bolts, correct the drive belt routing and reconnect the battery.
